A day at the park

Richard and I wanted to spend some time with our nieces and nephews on the Ethington side too. They are each such sweet, kind, unique, talented, beautiful people and we miss being around them. They are growing and changing so quickly, some of them turning into Youth when we weren't looking! It was so nice to steel away some bonding time with them.

(Makayla, Allison, Cat)

Richard's brothers and sisters have have been kind enough to provide us with 12 nieces and nephews on the Ethington side of the family. Here's the breakdown -

Ashlee and Travis: Ryan, Tyler, Adam, Brianna
Scott and Kim: Samantha, Jacob, Matthew, Joshua, Alex
Audra and DJ: Allison, Makayla
Mike and Julie: Taylor

Scott and Kim's family lives in Texas, so we didn't get to see those 5. We really miss you though! Then because Taylor is 4 months old, we bonded with her on other days. So, it was the remaining six kids/youths.

We played at the park, throwing those little green helicopers into the air, had a relay-race, and played frizbee. Then we had a prize giveaway where each person got to spend their pretend money to purchase a variety of toys, school supplies, and clothing. The each took turns and could only acquire as much as they could "buy", that helped keep things fair.

Then we headed over to McDonald's for Happy Meals and the play place. The kids loved it and we all had an amazing day together. Love them. Miss them.
